RAN AWAY from the subscriber on the night of the 5th inst. a Mulatto Boy about 20 years of age, named ELIJAH, middling tall and slim made, and of rather a fairer complexion than Mulattoes generally are; his clothing when he went off, consisted of a dark coloured cloth coat, light coloured jacket, and black lincey trowsers; he can play a little on the violin and it is thought he took one with him.
Any person taking up said runaway fifty miles from home, and delivering him to his master in Westmoreland county, ten miles west of Greensburgh, or lodging him in any jail so that his master may get him again, shall have the above reward and all reasonable expences, and if taken nearer than fifty miles, and delivered or lodged in jail aforesaid, Thirty Dollars and reasonable expences will be paid.
