archive description

Christopher Densmore is curator of the Friends Historical Library at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.  He began, in his words, "an informal mailing list of people I've run across that are interested in some way in URR research."  The semi-regular mailings are filled with news of recent scholarship, meetings, lectures, exhibits and other news of events and publications of interest to students of the Underground Railroad.

Mr. Densmore has kindly given his permission for us to archive these informative mailings that serve as a catalog of recent UGRR scholarship and research.  These are not an official publication of the Afrolumens Project.  All rights and copyrights for these mailings and newsletters archived here are reserved by Christopher Densmore.  Christopher Densmore is not presenting these newsletters on behalf of, or producing them for, the Afrolumens Project.
